How many muscles do we have in our face?

It's said that our facial muscles, those that generate facial gestures, are the most developed in the animal kingdom. We have more than 30 facial muscles that, among other functions, are responsible for expressive movements (those that express fear, astonishment, joy, doubt, etc.). And most of them are located in the mouth area. Almost all of us have learned to move each facial muscle independently, although some movements, such as raising a single eyebrow, are more difficult to perform than others. Good actors practice this ability to imitate any expression.
